Ever since seeing Lay’s What’s on my Netgalley TBR post, I figured I should do one too! I currently have 18 ARCs to read — but that number includes a number of unsolicited ARCs and widgets! I’ve already cut down the 18 ARCs from a larger number — my emails are a frightening place indeed. I’m still undecided if I want to click on some of these widgets yet, so I figured I’d share my TBR list today, and gather opinions. As usual, this is going to be a lengthy post, so grab a cup of tea and get cozy!

Hi, hello friends! I hope you’re all doing super well, and had a lovely Easter if you celebrate. This week, I thought it would be fun to talk about some of my favourite female characters! I have so many, so narrowing it down to this list was pretty hard but let’s get onto the list!

Happy Friday, sweet friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful day so far!
As you may know, I teamed up with Saima from storieswithsaima to create & host the Animal Crossing Readathon. The last month and a half has flown by, and I can’t even believe it’s already over. Since I did a Readathon TBR post, I figured I should only do a readathon wrap-up, and share what I ended up reading in the last month and a half. To no one’s surprise, I did not stick to my TBR, but I did read quite a bit — which really is all that matters.

Hello friends! I know I covered two books that I loved in March over on our wrap up post, but I thought it would be fun to cover a couple more books and talk about what I liked about them. So, without further waiting, let’s get into the list!

Hi friends! Welcome to the first installment of my Rereading Childhood Favorites series – you can check out my initial blog post for more info! I’m a firm believer that books we read as children shape us into the adults that we become, and that’s part of why I am so excited about this series.
With my birthday coming up this week (the 12th) I thought that it would be fitting to start this series by discussing the book that I think influenced me the most in my adolescence: Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women.

Happy March, little sprouts and seedlings! I’m so excited to share my TBR for the Animal Crossing Readathon, which I’m hosting with my dear friend Saima. While my normal readathon approach is to go in with a loose idea of what I’d like to read, and just hope the books I read fit prompts, I’ve decided to go in with a more established TBR this time around! I’m really hoping to make a dent in my pile of ARCs this month, and to get more into the swing of reading again.

Hi, hello friends and welcome to another post! If you don’t know, I love using my reading journal. Not only is it a creative outlet, but it’s also a fun way to keep track of what I’m reading. I love filling out my various spreads, colour coding them depending on what book it is, and writing a little reflection on my thoughts for it. Sometimes I struggle to think of different spreads in my reading journal, so I thought it would be fun to compile a few ideas just in case you’re lost on what to create. Let’s get into the list!

Happy Black History Month, everyone! I wanted to take a moment to give some extra love to a few of my favorite stories by Black authors – and truthfully I wanted another excuse to talk about why I love these books. Additionally, there are so many 2022 releases that I’m excited about, so I wanted to hype those up as well!
Before I get into the post, I want to say that it is so important that we are uplifting, listening to and supporting Black voices and stories every day and not only do so during Black History Month.

I don’t know about you, but I love tropes and cliches. There’s something so comforting about knowing you’re going to read something that’s slightly familiar, but with an original spin on it. Every author approaches tropes differently, and I love seeing how they incorporate them into their writing. Despite having the same core fundamentals, no two authors write tropes the same way, which is why I love seeing them in the books I read! I thought it would be fun to talk about five of my favourites, so let’s get into it!

Hi, hello friends! This week I thought it would be fun to talk about some of my auto buy authors. I have a lot of favourite books, and I have a lot of favourite authors, so why not highlight some of them! There’s nothing more exciting than getting a new book from an author you love, and I love clicking “buy now” on the Kindle store for these author’s next releases. Without anything further, let’s get into the list!
