Hi Friends! Admittedly, I haven’t had much time (or motivation) to read as of late, aside from audiobooks, so I thought I’d do a little recommendation post on some of my favorite audiobooks. We’ve come a long way from when this blog was first launched, and I started to give audiobooks more of a shot. Training my brain to slowly get used to audiobooks, and realizing that audiobooks worked a lot better for me if I was doing other things (like crafting, or exercising) at the same time really did wonders.

Hi friends! I’ve felt pretty distanced from the world of theater as of late, especially in terms of the Seattle theatre scene, but the 2024 – 2025 Broadway in Seattle seasons recently got announced, and I’m starting to feel excited about going to a show for the first time in ages. I thought it’d be fun to pair books with musicals that I’m hoping to see soon for today’s post. 

Hi friends! With 1989 (Taylor’s Version) coming out this week, I thought it’d be fun to do a book recommendations post based on your favorite 1989 song so far. I can’t wait to hear what the vault tracks sound like, especially Is It Over Now? and Say Don’t Go — and like everyone else, I am incredibly curious about what Slut! sounds like. 

I’ve been listening to nothing but Maisie Peters’ The Good Witch as of late, and I figured it’d be a perfect opportunity to pair songs from The Good Witch to book recs! It’s truly the album of the summer, and I couldn’t  be more proud of Maisie for her sophomore album — especially for hitting number 1 on the charts! I also got the chance to see Maisie live in concert last night (and also at Lollapalooza, where I was earlier this month), and all I can say is: if you have the chance to go see her, please do! She’s incredible live, and her stage presence is unmatched. 

Happy Tuesday, lovelies! I’ve been obsessively listening to Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), and thought it’d be fun to do a mini book recs for the vault songs only. I’ve also included book recs for two unreleased songs from that era that I love dearly (and wish were on Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)) — Battle, and Drama Queen. I think my favorite vault tracks are Foolish One, Castles Crumbling, and Timeless, but I love all of them, truly!
