Hello dear readers! Can you believe that 2022 has come to a close? We hope that you had a wonderful month and holiday season. It was a very good reading month here at teatimelit, so check out the post to see what we loved this month!
This month Caitlyn read 15 books, and Cossette read 20 books
It’s been a bit of a slower reading month for me, but I did hit my new goal of 255 books! I’ve had a hard time reading physical books lately — I just haven’t been able to focus on them — so I am infinitely thankful for audiobooks! I did read an arc of Enter the Body by Joy McCullough and absolutely fell in love with it. I already can’t wait to reread it and annotate it and make everyone read it. I did a reread of Daisy Jones and the Six, which got me extra hyped for the series next year and I’m already itching to read it again and annotate it! I’m not completely sure about my January TBR yet, but I’m excited to start planning it!

Posts I Loved Reading:
- I love history and as the Tudor era has fascinated me for years now, I’m always looking for stories about the Tudors. I loved Helena’s review of Tudors in Love!
- I also loved Helena’s Favorite Reads of 2022 post — Helena and I love a lot of the same books, so I always like seeing what ends up on her favorites list and she had some of my favorite reads of the year on hers as well!
- I got so excited while reading Kate’s post on 2023 Filipino Book Releases — there were some that were already on my TBR and I added a bunch more!
- I love book release posts, so it’s no surprise that I also loved Michelle’s post on her Most Anticipated 2023 Releases (Jan – June). I added quite a few to my TBR!
I read 20 books this month, and I reached my new goal of 300 books! I found new favorites in Last Violent Call by Chloe Gong, and Normal People: The Scripts. I also really enjoy reading Allison Cochrun’s Kiss Her Once For Me. That being said, the biggest win of this month was finally finishing up the audiobook of Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, which I’ve been listening to since October. I haven’t begun to think about a 2023 January TBR yet, but I’m super excited for what it’ll bring!

Posts I Loved Reading:
- As someone who is the definition of an emotional wreck, I loved reading Michelle’s “2022 Reads that Emotionally Wrecked Me” post.
- I read an ARC of Lunar Love this month, and loved Amanda’s review of it!
- I love trackers, and always love looking into ways to improve my reading tracker, so it’s no surprise that I loved Your Words My Ink’s Read Better Reading Tracker Spreadsheet post!
- As Long as The Lemon Trees Grow was one of my most anticipated releases of this year, but I didn’t get around to it! Reading Maddie’s post on reasons to read it made me even more excited for when I get to it next year.
- I trust Saima’s taste more than anything, so I loved reading their Top 10/100 Reads in 2022! Three of those books are on my TBR, and I can’t wait to get around to reading them!
Thank you all so much for spending another great year with us. We’re so thankful for your support and can’t wait to share more with you in 2023. Happy new year!
