hi friends! we’ve reached the end of a month again! april has been very busy and hectic — i went on a two week family vacation, and have spent the rest of the month playing catch up with real life, got covid, and simply just haven’t been reading as much as i did during the first two months of the year, which is totally fine. 

hi friends! i can’t believe march is already over — i know i said last month that march was going to be the month where i’d finally get a chance to catch up on all my arcs, gifted reads, and everything, but instead all i’ve done is get even more immersed into the world of hockey (i’ve been trying to pack as many games in this month before hockey season is over), sucked into some other life things, and honestly, just neglected reading. 

february has just flown by, hasn’t it. my friends? it’s been a whirlwind of a month over here, with a quick visit to california, and then some family visiting — sprinkle in some hockey, and some good reads, and that’s pretty much how the month of february went for me! 

hello, dear friends! i hope you’ve been having a lovely 2024 so far! january is always a weird month for me; there’s the promise of new beginnings, fresh starts and blank pages, and also an unhappy anniversary. i feel like every january, i dive in headfirst and my goals with a lot of energy and get burnt out by the end of the year. i’ve been trying to pace myself better, and work at my goals while maintaining what’s most important: having fun. reading is a hobby, not a chore, and bookstagram + book blogging should not be a secondary (or tertiary) job.
