Hello, hello besties! I hope that you’re doing well. As we approach the beginning of the new year, I figured it only made sense to share with you my anticipated releases of 2024!
Grab a snack, get cozy, and let’s talk about 2024 releases!

No One Can Know by Kate Alice Marshall (Jan 23)
I started reading Kate Alice Marshall’s books this year, and I have absolutely loved everything that I’ve read from her so far. No One Can Know has estranged sisters, a possibly haunted mansion, and a murder mystery — literally what more could I ask for in a book?

The Reappearance of Rachel Price by Holly Jackson (April 2nd)
If you’ve looked at my Bookstagram (follow me!) you’ve definitely seen a lot of posts about Holly Jackson’s books. She’s one of my favorite authors, and the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series is my favorite murder mystery series. Jackson’s newest novel, The Reappearance of Rachel Price sounds so interesting, and I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy!

Funny Story by Emily Henry (April 23)
I firmly believe that Emily Henry is the queen of contemporary romance, and I will not be taking any other opinions at this time, or ever, thank you very much. Funny Story sounds like such a fun read, but knowing Henry, she’ll also be delivering on some heartbreaking characterization, and I can’t wait for her to make me laugh, cry, kick my feet and twirl my hair as I always do when reading one of her books.

The Ballad of Darcy & Russell by Morgan Matson (May 7)
For me, Morgan Matson books feel like being wrapped up in a warm blanket. I love her characters and plot lines; I love the way she writes about relationships, both romantic and platonic and I have a feeling that I’m going to absolutely fall in love with Darcy and Russell. Additionally, I think stories that take place over the course of one night are so much fun, so I’m super excited to read this one.

Past Present Future by Rachel Lynn Solomon (June 4)
While I’ve enjoyed all of Rachel Lynn Solomon’s books, my favorite has always been Today Tonight Tomorrow. I really connected with Rowan and Neil and I am completely buzzing over the fact that we’ll be revisiting them in Past Present Future. I can’t wait to see Rowan and Neil navigate their new relationship and to read about whatever shenanigans I’m sure they’ll be getting up to.

Seven Lively Suspects by Katy Watson (July 18)
If you want a love letter to classic murder mysteries, look no further than the Dahlia Lively series by Katy Watson! This year, I read both The Three Dahlias and A Lively Murder and absolutely loved them. Watson’s writing is quick and clever and she really knows how to make you care about her main characters. I’m so excited for the next book in the series, Seven Lively Suspects, and will read anything and everything in this series.

Truly Devious 6 by Maureen Johnson
Do we have a release date, cover, or even title for the 6th book in Maureen Johnson’s Truly Devious series? No. However, that will not stop me from putting it on my most anticipated reads list! I’ve been hooked on this series from the very beginning, and have loved every book in the series. You better believe that the second we get any info on this book I will not be shutting up about it!

There are a few more books on my anticipated reads list, however, they fall under some St. Martin’s Press imprints, and while I support the authors and can’t wait to read these books, I am participating in the promotional boycott of St. Martin’s Press which includes, Wednesday Books, Castle Point Books, Minotaur Books, St. Martin’s Griffin, and St. Martin’s Essentials. You can learn more about the boycott and why this is happening here.

Which books are on your 2024 anticipated releases list? Let me know in the comments!
