Goodness, hasn’t February flown by? It’s been a big month for us all here, and we’re so excited to be sharing with you what we’ve read this month.
This month Caitlyn read 19 books, Cossette read 17 books, and Mary read 7 books.
Honestly, where did the time go? February was definitely a busy month for me with work (let me tell you, planning a 40+ camp summer camp program is no joke!) and I spent a lot of time watching The Olympics with my dad, so the beginning of the month was a little slow. But, in the end I ended up reading 19 books! I particularly loved Stacy Willingham’s A Flicker in the Dark, Jesse Q. Sutanto’s The New Girl, Alexandria Bellefleur’s Count Your Lucky Stars, Mia P. Manasala’s Homicide and Halo-Halo and A.R. Capetta’s The Heartbreak Bakery. Next month I’m planning on getting through some more ARCs and I’m really looking forward to our March pick for TeaTimeReads, Ophelia After All!

Posts I Loved Reading:
- Rachel Lynn Solomon has become one of my go-to authors. I always know that I’ll enjoy her books and I’m really looking forward to her next release, See You Yesterday. I loved Helena’s review and I’m even more excited for it’s May release.
- Dauntless and Stolen City by Elisa A. Bonnin are both at the top of my most anticipated 2022 releases list. Kate of Your Tita Kate posted the cover reveal of Stolen City and I am OBSESSED!
- We all know how much I love a good mystery/thriller, and I’m always looking for more to read. Crime By the Book’s review of The Night Shift by Alex Finlay has convinced me that this book will be right up my alley!
February was a much slower reading month for me! I had a lot of personal stuff going on (getting a concussion, interviewing and getting a new job), but I still managed to find a few new favorites! I absolutely adored Lillie Lainoff’s One for All, and Farah Heron’s Kamila Knows Best.. Next month, I’m really hoping to get through some ARCs because I’ve really let them pile up due to taking it easy this month, and I’m incredibly excited for the Animal Crossing Readathon, which I’m hosting with my dear friend Saima! That being said, I’m not sure how much reading I’ll get done with the new job as I get settled into my new role.

Posts I Loved Reading:
- I adored Thea’s review of Daughter of the Moon Goddess, and I particularly loved the deep dive section — I’m so excited for the sequel, and can’t wait to see what’s next for our favorites.
- April’s review of Right Where I Left You has me even more jazzed to dig into my ARC!
- Ophelia After All was one of my favorite reads last month, and I loved reading Prutha’s interview with Racquel Marie!
This month has been a surprisingly successful one for me, reading a total of seven books! This is more than I thought I read, and while most of them weren’t very good, there were some gems in the midst! My favourite book of the month was The Worst Best Man by Mia Sosa, which was a very fun rom com! It had a lot of tropes in it that I enjoy, so it was a quick read to get through the last week of the month. I also read The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden, and while I didn’t love it the whole way through, Katherine Arden writes so beautifully it made the book exciting. I am super looking forward to seeing what I read in March, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.
