Hi friends! And just like that, it’s November! I can’t believe we’re already in the second to last month of the year. If you’d like to know some of my plans for the month of November, keep reading!
October was a very slow month on the blog for a multitude of reasons, so I’m hoping to get back into the swing of writing and publishing posts in November!
I’m not putting too much pressure on myself reading wise this month, since my Halloween TBR just proved that following a TBR really does not work for me and I just need to read on vibes alone. However, I would like to read at least 2 books from my Fall TBR this month, and I do think that’s doable! Otherwise, I’ll just read things as I feel like it.
This month I’ll also start planning my 2025 reading journal spreads. This year, I ended up moving a lot of my stuff from my physical journal to digital spreadsheets, so I’ll be looking at what physical spreads I used consistently throughout the year and keep those and see if there’s anything new I’d like to try.
I’ll still have quite a bit going on workwise this month, but in general this month will be a little less hectic and will give me a little more breathing room which will be nice.
Next weekend I have tickets to see the Kimberly Akimbo tour with my mom and I’m really looking forward to that! I saw Kimberly Akimbo on Broadway last year and thought it was wonderful, so I’m looking forward to seeing it again.
My sister, brother-in-law and I are going to go to the Dickens Fair again next month, and this year, since we decided earlier that we’d be going, I want to dress up! Last year I saw a guy dressed up as Sweeney Todd (though it was the movie version…) and I thought, “Oh, if we go again next year, I should dress up as Mrs. Lovett!” so, this month I want to start planning my Mrs. Lovett costume — I’m planning on going most recent Broadway revival inspired, so it should be fairly easy for me to put together and it’ll be very fun!
This weekend starts rehearsals for the production of The Secret Garden that I’ll be directing, so that’s exciting! I’ve really been looking forward to starting rehearsals for this show, especially since it’s one of my favorite books and I love this script adaptation. I have a lot of ideas, and still have some things to work out, but I’m definitely excited to direct again.
I also have some creativity focused things that I want to get to this month. I’ll be starting to decorate for Christmas this month — it’s my favorite holiday and tbh I’m one of those people who basically starts celebrating Christmas once November starts. I usually have themes for my Christmas trees each year, last year was & Juliet, but I haven’t decided what to do this year yet, so I want to figure that out and start decorating asap! I’m also going to start planning and setting up my 2025 bullet journal. I have a list of pages/spreads I want to do for my first 2025 journal in my current journal, but actually getting everything set up will take some time, so I want to start that this month.
And there we have it, those are most of my November plans! I’d love to hear about what you’ve got planned for this month in the comments.
Until next time! 💜
