Hi, hello and welcome to teatimelit! We’re Caitlyn, Cossette, and Mary; three friends with a shared love of tea and reading. We wanted to promote and celebrate books that have had an impact on our lives, as well as discover new reads. Thank you so much for taking the time to check our blog out!
Hello all! I’m Caitlyn and I use she/her pronouns. I’m 28, and I live in California where I work as a theatre teacher/director/stage manager. I’m almost always quoting a musical or Gilmore Girls and I love everything purple and floral. I’m Irish, French and Filipino – and very proud of it – a Pisces, an ENFJ and a 7 w1/w2.
I love all different types of books, but I generally lean towards YA, contemporary, mysteries, and own voices. I also love retellings and anything Shakespeare/theatre related. I’m not a great sleeper and when I can’t sleep I usually read. I very often read multiple books at once, and tend to listen to 10+ hour audiobooks in one day. I love buddy reading but am bad at it and almost always finish the book way ahead of everyone else.
Some of my favorite books are If We Were Villains by M. L. Rio, Emma by Jane Austen, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong, Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, Save the Date by Morgan Matson, and The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.
When I’m not reading or working, you can usually find me watching a musical or listening to showtunes, baking, binge-watching my favorite shows for the millionth time, working in my bullet journal or tending to my plants.

Hi, hello! I’m Cossette, and I use she/her pronouns. I’m 23, and I live on unceded Duwamish land (suburbs of Seattle) with my dog, Toto, where I work in child welfare research/program evaluation. I immigrated from Hong Kong when I was younger, and have been in Seattle ever since. I’m Chinese-American, bisexual, an INFJ, a Sagittarius Sun/Capricorn Rising/Cancer Moon, and a 1w2.
I’m often found reading in the early hours of the morning, or very late at night (depending on how you prefer to describe it) and a bit of a chaotic reader – I’m usually either juggling a couple books at once, not reading at all, or reading books in one sitting. I’m also notoriously bad at buddy reading, and will usually end up reading ahead.
I tend to lean towards contemporary, own voices, LGBTQ+, YA fantasy, romance, and always love a good retelling. Some of my favorite books are Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston, These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong, The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy by Kevin Kwan, Down Comes the Night by Allison Saft, They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera, and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

My name is Mary, I’m 21, and I use she/her pronouns. I live in Australia, however I am originally from England. I am an avid reader, with a love of YA, fantasy, and a good mystery. Mostly, you can find me re-reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern for the 100th time. As well as reading, I am a full time university student hoping to get a law degree. I’m known most for my 10 physical copies of The Night Circus, with intentions of growing my collection as more editions are released.
Some of my other favourite books include The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol, The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff, and Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody.
Thank you very much for checking out our little blog, I hope you enjoy your time here!
